About Me:

I'm a rediscovered healing arts practitioner and enjoy working with qigong, reiki, hypnotherapy, and sound and vibrational energy therapy. I am very drawn to Five Element Theory and am currently an intern at an acupuncture school getting my Master's in Chinese Medicine.

My thoughts/developing philosophies these days revolve around why we label and limit ourselves, boxing ourselves into being “a being who only..”. I don't think I like the idea of “being” gay/straight, conservative/liberal, male/female, etc. I want to be free to explore and express with whom and with where and with what and continue to learn along my path without boundaries.

I have worked in the fields of biochemistry, healthcare operations/financial mgmt, publishing, software development/implementation and education/training.

I work full time, attend school full time and have 2 small businesses in addition to developing integrated therapies around the modalities that I use.  Oh, and I just started learning to play the didjeridu and the native american flute.

Recently, I've become very interested in beginning some small scale projects to help lessen my footprint on Earth.  In the last year, I have:

Begun a worm compost - in my living room

Riding my bike more instead of driving the truck and just recently purchased an electric hub motor for my bike.
Re-learned recycling (not just the blue bin kind that I'm not too sure about, more like finding new uses for old things)
Learned how to shave with a straight razor
Bought a clothesline to dry clothes instead of using the dryer
Using alternative natural cleaning supplies that I make myself
Using less paper towels

Expand your mind; neuter your dogma.

Tell me what YOU believe,
not what someone else has told you to believe.

Why is protecting a WAY of life
more important that protecting A LIFE?

Why is BELIEVING you are RIGHT
more important than just BELIEVING?
